Starting off, we'll listen to a track from a recent enough release-- LittleBigPlanet. This is the interactive theme of the very first world-- the Gardens. User arpantz1 at Final Fantasy Shrine ripped this track and many more. If you'd like me to upload the rest, just send me a comment below.
This credits theme comes from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! one of my favorite installments of the series. Great tracks, nice and colorful, and fantastic multiplayer action. This theme uses the opening riff of Mario Kart 64's staff roll. Can you here it? It's pretty obvious.
This video features two themes from the Viewtiful Joe series. The first is Inferno Lord, a theme that plays during the boss fight with Fire Leo. Likewise, Blizzard Hazard is the theme of his brother, White Tiger, who is a boss in Viewtiful Joe 2. The songs are very similar. Can you distinguish the melodic/rhythmic links between them?
The second world of Wii launch title, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz, is known as Jumble Jungle. I really dig the melodic phrases beginning at 0:55. It could just be me since I'm a sucker for monkeys... Wait. That isn't to say I'm a monkey-sucker or anything like that... Stop looking at me like that.
I was going to use the original Donkey Kong Country version of this song, but why not show a little more current version from Smash Bros. Brawl? Well, that's exactly what I did. Accompanying this great arrangement are a trio of pictures I took myself. My favorite part kicks in at 1:13. Enjoy.

Let's see... Next week is that of Christmas, so I'm fumbling in my head on whether I should just post my next five volumes then or dedicate next week's edition to Christmas-sounding themes. What do you think?
Regardless, remember to check out my Youtube channel as it's there that you can find all of my past and future volumes!
