Returning to a more whimsical approach than what the Wii U's Xenoblade Chronicles X offered (though that was still a good game according to players of it), Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was rumored briefly to have slipped into 2018. Thankfully, that was not the case, as Nintendo has shown that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is in fact releasing this holiday season in 2017!
